Okay. I'm not really good at making digital art, since I do not have any pen tablets. Well, I didn't have any, until last month. I received my first pen tablet this July 16 (my Birthday). It was a Huion H420, The cheapest pen tablet that became really famous because of its efficacy compared to its price. (Here in the Philippines, Php 1499 through Lazada) Honestly, as a beginner in digital art, the pen tablet was pretty easy to set-up and use. The CD installer was outdated though, so I had to download the drivers form the website. Also, I needed a battery for the pen, and it is not included in the kit. It just needs an AA battery, so it was easy to find (I used our Remotes batteries hehe) --------------- So as for the subject of my first digital art using my own tablet, I thought of doing much simpler drawings, like a chibi version of myself or something. But, due to one game play that I thoroughly enjoyed, I skipped the thought of doing ba...
Day 6, 7, 8 of my 30 Day Drawing Challenge: Draw a toy, a bird and a secret respectively I drew an old bunny stuffed toy (toy), an owl of my own species (bird) and a mirror (secret)! You can obviously see which one of the items I gave so much effort. What do you think my secret is? :)
Day 9, 10, 11 of my 30 Day Drawing Challenge: Draw a robot, someone angry and something I'm not good at drawing I drew a toy robot inside the bottle, an angry kid and a close-up version of his hand, and a background with a different type of perspective! The first two are very simple. What made the difference is the style and the medium used. I do not normally use gel pens for drawing, and specially not for colouring. That really made the difference, I tell you. It took me three days just to get the details I want for my background! Three Days! Well, let' say about 22 hours and they are divided into three days, unequally. How did I make this? First, I studied how the refraction of light works. Yes. I held the bottle of water outside the window. I looked weird, but it was definitely interesting to observe how the surroundings looked so different through the bottle. Then I drew, with pencil guidelines of cou...
